If your toilet won't flush...
A toilet clog is a common issue most renters face at some point. You can often dislodge a clog using a standard household plunger. If you don't own one, you can purchase one in a local hardware or big box store.
Simply press the plunger into place in the basin of the toilet and press down firmly over the drain. Once in place, you can move the handle up and down rapidly to push the clog through the system.
Be careful not to flush your toilet while performing this action, as it could cause your toilet to flood. Instead, wait for the basin to drain itself.
